THE OFFICIAL FLAG OF SAINT KITTS AND NEVIS 

The green on the flag is supposed to represent the fertile land.  The red stands for the struggle of slavery and independence.  The black stripe is supposed to symbolize the African heritage on Saint Kitts and Nevis.  The yellow is representing the constant sunshine on these two islands.  The two white stars stand for the two islands and optimism and independence.

COMPARISION OF SAINT KITTS AND NEVIS GOVERNMENT TO UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT:

The government in Saint Kitts and Nevis is a parliamentary democracy, whereas the United States' government is a democracy.  The voting is 18 and older in both countries.  In the US, however we have elections every 4 years, but in Saint Kitts the elections are held every 5 years.  Also, the size of the government is very different.  The United States of America's government is much larger than Saint Kitts and Nevis' government.
